Mash (151°F for 100 minutes):

  • 38% (4 lbs 14 oz) Bohemian Pilsner

  • 38% (4 lbs 14 oz) flaked wheat

  • 10% (1 lb 5 oz) Munich I

  • 10% (1 lb 5 oz) Vienna

  • 4% (8 oz) flaked oats

  • 4 oz rice hulls


Boil (90 minute):

  • 60 minute - 0.3 oz Amarillo hops (8.1% AA - 5.3 IBUs)

  • 60 minute - 0.15 oz Magnum hops (12% AA - 3.9 IBUs)

  • 10 minute - 0.5 oz Amarillo hops (8.1% AA - 3.7 IBUs)

  • 10 minute - 0.25 oz Saaz hops (2.8% AA - 0.6 IBUs)

  • 5 minute - 0.8 oz coriander seed (lightly cracked)

  • 5 minute - 0.25 oz bitter orange peel

  • 5 minute - 0.25 oz sweet orange peel

  • 5 minute - fresh zest from 3 Navel oranges

  • Whirlpool - 10 minutes @ 170°F - Amarillo hops (8.1% AA - 0.2 IBUs)


Yeast:

  • 1 package Imperial Yeast #B44 Whiteout


Secondary:

  • Add 2 vanilla beans to secondary fermenter or keg, and allow at least 1-2 weeks of contact time prior to packaging.
